Responsibilities

  • Support data conditioning of finished written products (FININTEL) in the standard IC formats for IC PUBS format and Worldwide News Products in NewsML.
  • Support aggregation and correlation of FININTEL from major INTEL within IC that deliver to downstream enterprise business areas on JWICS.
  • Ensure and maintain ATO for the ETL platform on JWICS using existing and new microservices that support data conditioning, format validation, and transformation.
  • Ensure data flow through the NiagaraFiles (NiFi) pipeline and deliver to downstream consumers/applications.
  • Support the development and maintenance of cable dataset classification verification system.
  • Seek solutions and the latest technology as applicable to further enhance, improve, evolve, and containerize microservices to deliver conditioned data.
  • Maintain and improve the NiFi cluster, an opensource data management tool, and microservices on JWICS and existing standalone deployments.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D; minimum of 15 years in lieu of degree.
  • Deep understanding of NiFi and NiFi clusters
  • Strong grasp of microservices and their use within a distributed architecture
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and coach teammates.
  • Ability to collaboratively interact with customers including senior management, data scientists, and end users.

Desired

  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as K8s.
  • Decomposing functional requirements into technical specifications and tasks.
  • Software development and maintenance using tools and languages such as Java, SQL, JavaScript libraries, HTML, XML, Python, Spark, etc.
  • Developing APIs and web services for integration between systems and services.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with SecDevOps processes.
  • Designing and delivering software solutions for the Sponsor.
  • Supporting and leading software security accreditation processes, developing required artifacts, coordinating with sponsor infosec, implementing security requirements and remediations
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Python, Powershell, Terraform, Ansible
  • Experience with development in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
